Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Consıdered ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Consıdered is a legal career reflection and decision‑support service designed for qualified legal practitioners, those considering embarking on a legal career (including senior high school, undergraduate, and post-graduate students), and early-career lawyers. The service presents different perspectives on situations involving legal career choices (including law firm and in‑house decisions, career path and advancement, and alternative legal careers). The Service provides AI‑generated perspective prompts and reflective questions intended to support user‑led thinking. The Service does not provide legal, mental health, coaching, counselling, financial, career, or any other professional or advisory service of any nature. It does not make recommendations, give instructions, or determine what users should do. Consıdered is operated on a sole‑trader basis.

3. Not a Substitute for Professional Help

The content generated by Consıdered is informational and reflective only. It is designed to support users in exploring different perspectives on their legal careers, not to guide, direct, diagnose, or treat. This service is not a crisis intervention tool. It is a reflective tool designed to offer different perspectives for self-reflection and career exploration.

Content generated by Consıdered is produced by artificial intelligence and is not a replacement for professional legal advice, professional career advice, or any other regulated professional service.

The Service is not designed to support users experiencing a personal crisis or thoughts of self‑harm. The Service may be unable to respond appropriately in such circumstances. If you need immediate help, contact your local emergency services or a mental health professional.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant Consıdered a limited licence to process this content solely for the purpose of delivering and improving the Service.

7. Jurisdiction-Specific Content

Where users select a jurisdiction (including but not limited to England & Wales, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and the United States), the Service may tailor reflection prompts and perspectives to reflect the selected jurisdiction. This tailoring is provided solely to contextualise reflective prompts and does not constitute legal advice, jurisdiction-specific guidance, or any professional service. Consıdered makes no representation that content relating to any jurisdiction is accurate, complete, current, or applicable to any particular user's circumstances. Users must not rely on jurisdiction-specific content as a substitute for qualified legal or professional advice in that jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Consıdered excludes all liability arising from any reliance on jurisdiction-specific content generated by the Service.

8. Privacy & Data

We collect and process the information you provide in connection with your use of the Service, including reflection content, usage data, and information associated with features such as Reflection History, Career Goals Timeline, Pro Bono, Volunteering & CPD, and the Job Applications Tracker.

This information is processed solely for the purposes of providing, operating, and improving the Service, in accordance with applicable UK data protection law. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Personal data is processed where necessary to perform our contractual obligations to you and for our legitimate interests in operating and developing the Service. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for these purposes or as required by law.

Further details about how we collect, use, store and protect personal data, and about users' rights, are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You may request deletion of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability and Accuracy

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or fully accurate. AI‑generated content may be incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate. Users are responsible for how they interpret and use any content provided. Answers generated by the Service are reflective prompts intended for personal exploration only and should not be relied upon as factual, professional, or actionable guidance. Users must not share, distribute, or present answers to third parties as verified information, professional advice, or personal recommendations without their own independent verification and professional consultation. The Service does not guarantee any particular outcome, insight, or improvement. Use of the Service does not ensure that a user will reach a specific decision or result.

Consıdered expressly disclaims all warranties, representations, and conditions, whether express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for purpose of any information or content contained in or generated by the Reflections, including without limitation any market intelligence, financial information, salary or remuneration data, industry trends, jurisdictional information, or any other factual or advisory content. No information or representation provided through the Service — whether generated by artificial intelligence or otherwise — constitutes a warranty, representation, or guarantee of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Consıdered shall have no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, claim, or expense (whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise) arising from any reliance placed on the accuracy or completeness of any such information or content, including any claim of misrepresentation or misleading conduct.

10. Third-Party Resources

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Consıdered makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any third-party resources, including but not limited to articles, guides, courses, podcasts, events, and external links referenced or provided on the Service. Any reliance on third-party resources is solely at the user's discretion and risk. Consıdered excludes all liability arising from any use of, or inability to use, any third-party resources or any inaccuracy, error, or omission contained therein. Users should conduct their own verification and seek professional advice before relying on any third-party resource.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to circumvent security measures, submitting harmful, discriminatory, bullying, harassing or unlawful content, or using the Service for any purpose other than personal well-being reflection.

12. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including its structure, organisation, features, design, workflows, text, and other content, are owned by or licensed to us unless otherwise stated.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to you. You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable right to access and use the Service for its intended purpose in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you create or upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and display that content solely for the purpose of providing and operating the Service.

You may not copy, reproduce, reverse‑engineer, modify, adapt, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Consıdered and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Third parties may not rely on or make claims based on any reflection materials generated by the Service, and Consıdered shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by third parties in connection with the Service.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Fees & Access

Users can access up to 1 free reflection session per category (Law Firms & In-House, Career Path & Advancement, or Alternative Legal Careers). After exhausting free reflection sessions in a category, a paid subscription is required for continued access.

Subscription plans are: (a) Monthly: £9.99 GBP per month, auto-renewing each month until cancelled; (b) Annual: £89 GBP per year, auto-renewing each year until cancelled. All subscriptions auto-renew using the payment method on file. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us via the form on our homepage. Refunds for partial months or years are not available.

Institutions, organisations, and teams seeking bulk subscriptions or custom pricing arrangements are welcome to enquire. Please contact us via the Contact Form on our homepage with details of your requirements, and we will be happy to discuss options tailored to your needs.

The subscription fees set out above apply exclusively to the Consıdered reflection service. Any separate services, including but not limited to Coach or Mentor bookings, are not included in the subscription and will be subject to separate charges. Pricing and availability for such services will be notified to you upon request.

16. Cooling-Off Period

You have a statutory right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase. If you request immediate access to the Service during this period, you acknowledge that you may lose your right to a cooling‑off refund once the Service has been accessed, in accordance with applicable law.

17. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if these Terms are breached or if continued use would pose risk to the Service or its users. This includes, without limitation, any use of the Service to submit, generate, or promote harmful, discriminatory, bullying, harassing, abusive, or unlawful content of any nature.

18. Monitoring and Intervention

By using the Service, you expressly consent to Consıdered monitoring the reflections you submit and the perspectives generated in response, for the purposes of ensuring proper usage of the Service and intervention where required. This monitoring is conducted to maintain service integrity and prevent misuse, including the submission of harmful, discriminatory, bullying, harassing, abusive, or otherwise unlawful content of any nature. Consıdered may use information gathered through this monitoring to improve the Service, enforce these Terms, and take appropriate action where usage is found to be in breach of these Terms or poses risk to the Service or its users.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

20. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Consıdered.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Consıdered regarding the Service and supersede any prior communications or representations.

22. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

23. Contact
